The author of the Cine y Escuela poster is Maria Muñoz, a 23-year-old from Almáz and a graphic design degree student at the Merida School of Art and Design Superior. Realizing that it was an “opportunity” to be able to carry out poster design for the film department and the school, she felt “overwhelmed and excited”, as it was the first opportunity to make real contact with the “Very Important to Merida” committee.

“Since I was little, I’ve been to the movies and have always been passionate about this world: the room, the big screen, the comfy padded chairs that wrap around my back, popcorn or 3D magic that puts you completely in a screen. For that reason, the poster center is the classic theater seat. , which is an elevator like the one I used to be able to see the screen, and on top of it, some popcorn with 3D glasses.”
