MEXICO CITY – The Mexican women's soccer team continues to prepare and work to grow for the future. On this occasion, they will face the Canadian national team on Canadian soil, during the FIFA date in June.

These two matches against the Maple Leafs are part of a grueling preparation for Pedro Lopez's team, which will now face one of the best teams in the world: the Canadian women's team.

Canada qualified for the Women's Gold Cup final, in which it lost on penalties to the United States national team, and attended the World Cup finals last year in Australia and New Zealand, and is currently preparing to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The matches will be held in the cities of Montreal and Toronto during the first week of June, with the first match being held on the first of the aforementioned month and the second on the fourth of that month.

The women of the trio have not been able to achieve victory since last March 3, when they defeated their Paraguayan counterpart in the quarter-finals of the W Gold Cup, before they were eliminated in the semi-finals against Brazil, the team that lost the final to the United States. Mexico has also not been able to score any goals since the aforementioned victory.
