Kings of Leon are returning to the UK this year following their huge album announcement | Music | entertainment

The Kings of Lyon are facing a very difficult week.

A few days ago, it was confirmed that they will be the exciting new headliners for BST Hyde Park in 2024.

There, they will take over London's iconic park for an afternoon of sunshine, music and good times.

…But rock music wouldn't end then. Instead, Kings of Leon have just announced that they will be touring the UK during their visit to the country.

Starting on June 20, 2024, Kings of Leon will host a huge list of shows across the country, including several shows at the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow.

The tour coincides with the release of their new ninth studio album, Can We Please Have Fun, which will also be released this summer on May 10, 2024.

Speaking about the new album, singer Caleb Followill said: “It's the most fun record I've ever made.”

“It's like we're allowing ourselves to be vulnerable musically,” Nathan Foyle added.

“I like it when a rock band isn't ashamed to admit that not every song has to be No. 11,” Nathan continues.

Tickets for this archaeological tour will be released at the end of the week.
