“The World Trade Center for Tourism has made a decision to move its global summit from March to April to coincide with the easing of travel restrictions and the beginning of the sector’s recovery,” the business authority said in a statement.

Initially, the event was scheduled to take place in April 2020, but due to the outbreak of the epidemic, it has been postponed to October of this year.

Due to the worsening health crisis, the event was postponed for a second time to March 2021, but due to travel restrictions, a third new date was set.

“Although Cancun is ready to host the World Summit now, WTTC is confident that the rescheduling of the event will allow more international participants to participate and help the sector recover,” he said.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, various countries in the world, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada and the United States, have continued travel restrictions to limit the movement of people and thus reduce infection with the Coronavirus.
