The national taekwondo team will compete this weekend in the Canadian Open, an event that will be held in Vancouver. The Costa Ricans will make their debut on Friday, February 8 in the Poomsae category while on the 9th and 10th they will participate in the Fighting category.

The athletes who traveled this Tuesday are: Alejandro Roman, Juan Carlos Calderon, Carlos Jiménez, Fabian Carrillo, Valeria Nunez and Fiorella Lobo in poomsae, under the technical direction of Mercedes Chavez, and in combat, Tyra Borklund Guillén, Nishi Lindo and Alejandro Flores.
