The official presentation of the XXIV Travesía a Nado Isla de Lobos took place, an emblematic sporting event that continues to consolidate its position as one of the most prominent open water swimming events in Fuerteventura. The parade took place on the waterfront of the school in Corralejo, and was attended by prominent authorities, including the mayor of the La Oliva City Council, Isay Blanco, the sports advisor, Gleber Carreño, and the sports advisor of the Cabildo de. The XXIV Isla de Lobos swimming crossing will have a 3,500-meter route, starting from Punta del Marago and ending at the Corralejo Sports Pier ramp. The most notable feature of this competition is the diversity of participants’ origins, which include athletes from Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona, ​​Granada, the Basque Country and various Canary Islands. carrot. The 258 participants are scheduled to depart at around 12:00 from Punta de Marajó, on the island of Isla de Lobos, while the first swimmers are expected to arrive at the Corralejo Sports Pier ramp at around 12:45. The competition process will include monitoring the participants and taking an official photo at the marine school, followed by the swimmers boarding the Celia Cruise boat, at approximately 11:30 am.
