On the masculine side, there were Sanyo Gutierrez and Agustin Tapia beat ESPN Hesse-Olesen and Mads Elulm 6-2 6-4; Maxi Sanchez Fernando Bellastin, who debuted 6-1 6-0 against Emil Hansen and Tobias Galskov; Federico Shingoto-Franco Stobachuk 6-2 6-1 against Martin Pedersen and Mads Laudrup.
On Thursday, the men will face Paraguay in search of a place in the semi-finals. The entire World Cup can be watched live on Star+.
In the Women’s League, Argentina beat the United Kingdom 3-0 to remain with Group B and conclude passage to the quarter-finals.
This Wednesday’s results were Giulietta Pedahoria and Virginia Riera 6-0, 6-0 Lila Simpson and Hana Roddick; Nella Brito and Aranza Osoro 6-1, 6-0 by Tia Norton and Yosemite Crossley; Silvana Campos and Claudia Jensen also beat Laura Digmann and Elvira Campion 6-0.
The Argentine girls will face Germany in the quarter-finals.
On the other hand, Chile and Uruguay qualified for the quarter-finals in the men’s category. They will face Brazil and France respectively.
