Amazon and Lionsgate seal UK content deal

Amazon and Lionsgate have reached a content agreement in the UK.

The partnership will bring a lot of Lionsgate and Starz content to the Amazon MGM+ streaming device, including Outlander, Energy Books And Snake Queen. This is the third in a series of content deals that MGM+ has recently struck with Lionsgate for Europe and Latin America.

Lionsgate+ customers who join via Prime Video channels in the UK will now be able to access the MGM service starting in April. In May, the MGM service will be renamed to MGM+ in the UK to align with the recent rebranding that has taken place in Europe, Latin America and the US. MGM+ is now available in 31 countries and is one of the most subscribed Prime Video channels globally. , according to Amazon. In the US, the streaming company formerly known as Epix changed its name to MGM+ more than a year ago.
