Pokémon: To Be a Pokémon Master will premiere on Netflix in the US and Latin America September 8th | #anime | Anime, manga and video game news

The Pokémon International Company announced during his session Pokemon At San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, the fourth and final installment of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, the 25th season of the Pokémon anime, will premiere on Netflix in the US and Latin America on September 8. This installment is titled Pokémon: To Be a Pokémon Master (Pokémon: Being a Pokémon Master). The episodes will feature the return of characters like Brock, Misty, Gary, Team Rocket, and Squirtle Squad.

Pocket Monster Mezase Pokémon Master (aimed to be a Pokémon Master), a collection of 11 special episodes to conclude Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, opens in Japan on January 13. The series was the “final chapter” for Ash and Pikachu, and commemorates their adventures.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan under the title Pocket Monster in November 2019, two days after the global release of the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games.

The first 12 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series debuted in the United States on Netflix in June 2020, with the service adding new episodes on a quarterly basis. The anime also premiered on Canadian TV channel Teletoon in May 2020.

The anime’s subtitled title, Pokémon Journeys: The Series, contains 48 episodes. Pokémon: Master Journeys: The Series continued with Pocket Monster Episode 49, which premiered in Japan in December 2020. Netflix began streaming Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series last October. The third batch of episodes premiered on Netflix on June 23.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series (English title), the new anime of the Pokémon series, premiered on April 14 with a special one-hour episode. The show airs on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. The Pokémon Company previously stated in an English-language press release that the anime will premiere in 2023 “and beyond”.
