One year after the launch of the Mexican-Caribbean site, 1.5 million visits from potential tourists have been recorded.
Since January 30, 2020, travelers can visit the site mexicancar Caribbean.travel In English and caribemexicano.travel. Travel In Spanish linked to 40 social networks of different destinations in Quintana Roo.
As of that date, 640,000 users have entered to explore it. In its Spanish version, the portal receives visits from Mexico, the United States, Colombia, Chile and Argentina. Whereas, the countries from which they visit the English language site are the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
According to Google Analytics, there have been more than 750,000 active sessions and nearly one and a half million page visits.
The site receives an average of 123,000 users per month, is easy to navigate and provides useful information to travelers.
The Quintana Roo Tourist Promotion Board, managed by Darío Flota Ocampo, maintains information on destinations in the Mexican Caribbean.

The information it contains is related to tourist destinations in the state, local businesses, e-learning platform, blogs, direct contact with the destination’s social networks, and also has updates related to state health prevention protocols.
It includes everything related to the data that the traveler requests during his visit, such as maps, roads, entertainment options, tour guides, photographs, and others.
“After a year, we are very happy that we continue to incorporate the latest technologies into these types of portals. We are including learning about visitor preferences, identifying the origin of where they come in contact to visit us, and learning about timelines and topics that interest them the most,” said Flotta.
