While challenger Joao Camilo Neto (7-5-1), hailing from Aparecida de Goiânia, represents Team Ultimate Kombat Fitness, from Phoenix, Arizona, and will arrive with all intent to snatch the medal.

The champion, who represents both Killer Bees Mexico and the Babuino Gold Team, secured his first title defense at the end of 2021 to become the fourth 125-pound UWC Champion.

In the semi-finals is Cristian “Demolidore” Rivas (6-1-1), from Manta, Ecuador, who will enter the UWC cage for the third time as the happy representative of this year’s unbeaten country.

Rival Ramon “Wild Boy” Vizcarra (3-3-0), of Maranatha Kickboxing & BJJ, of Mexicali, Baja California, will be in an agreed duel at £140, and Cashanella will have the honor of defending the tricolor.
