Confirming what was an open secret, Duilio Davino and Andrés Lellini have been fully integrated as part of the management teams of the national teams for the process towards the 2026 World Cup.
The Mexican Football Federation announced through a statement that Duilio Davino will be the new sporting director for the men’s national teams, while Andres Lellini will be the new director for the minor teams.

With these official appointments, the federation has reaffirmed that the new structure for the national teams has been completed in the various categories of the 2026 World Cup to be held in Mexico, the United States and Canada.
