BAT will hire 70 workers in 2022 to drive its digital transformation

The foreign company BAT (British American Tobacco), located in Costa Rica, hopes to attract new talent to fill 70 new vacancies by the first months of 2022, thus seeking to boost its digital transformation from its operations in the national territory.

The year before, BAT announced that the expansion of its Global Business Solutions (GBS) hub, headquartered in Heredia, would add at least 150 new employees to the 395 they already had in 2020, with an estimated investment of $1 million.

“Costa Rica continues to be a strategic location with amazing talent, allowing us to support 45 BAT markets, including American countries, from Canada and the United States to Chile, as well as some countries in southern Europe,” explains Gustavo. Guzmán, Managing Director of GBS Costa Rica.
