The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced, Thursday, that the official branding of the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada, will be presented next Wednesday, May 17, in Los Angeles, one of the stadiums of the tournament.
The show will take place at 7:30pm local time with a “stylish show with performances by invited artists that can be watched live from anywhere in the world via FIFA+”.
And FIFA adds: “On May 17, the countdown will also start with projections, activities and digital broadcasts in the rest of the venues in the three organizing countries, which will give fans a new opportunity to take part in the official presentation of the brand.”
The three host countries of the 2026 World Cup on Thursday introduced the #WeAre26 (#Somos26) campaign, “an action that encourages people, municipalities and communities to actively participate in the presentation”.
The campaign will include photos and images of important World Cup venues that “capture the essence of what awaits fans in 2026 and invites the world to be part of #Somos26.”
The 2026 World Cup will be held in three countries with 16 stadiums, 48 teams and 104 matches.
