From April 8th, “El Mauritano” is on the notice board.
Starring Jodi Foster, Shailene Woodley, Taher Raheem and Benedict Cumberbatch, the film directed by Kevin MacDonald has finally made virtual platforms for its premiere.
As one of the most popular and relevant films of the year, it was nominated for 5 Bafta Awards, with an award in the Golden Globes as Best Actress for Jodi Foster, El Mauritano (Mauritania), based on real events collected in the book “The Guantánamo Diaries” by Mohamed Ould Salahi .
Abstract: Arrested by the United States government, Mohamedou Ould Salahi (Rahim) lives in Guantanamo Bay where he has spent more than a decade without charge or trial. Losing all hope, Slahi finds allies in defense attorney Nancy Hollander (Foster) and her partner Terry Duncan (Woodley). Together, they face countless obstacles in a desperate search for justice.
