What mobile phones will be without WhatsApp as of November 1 – Society

From the first day of November, countless mobile phones of various brands will be left without the instant messaging application WhatsApp, the same phone that last Monday caused goosebumps around the world when that and other Facebook platforms went down.

WhatsApp’s decision to stop providing maintenance service for older mobile versions is due to its inability to support system improvements. In this sense, the application will stop working on all those phones that do not have Android 4.0.3 version or, in the case of iPhones, those without iOS 9 or later installed. In the latter case, experts recall that the Apple operating system is already in the iOS15 version.

According to computer professionals, to see what version of the cell phone will be without this functionality in a few days, users have to go into the Settings section and look for the “Phone info” link to see if they can proceed. To use the app or they must go out and buy a new device.
