UNCA has approved the creation of the medical profession

The UNCA Supreme Council unanimously approved Tuesday night to create the medical profession. Today is the last step UNCA has taken to implement this new academic offering. Now the project will be sent to Buenos Aires for evaluation and approval by the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation (CONEAU) and the National Ministry of Education.

For dictation, we must have approval from both the CONEAU and the nation’s Ministry of Education. The committee was working with great responsibility and produced a very important proposal to dictate the race. The university’s president, Oscar Arellano, said, “We are very pleased to have taken this important step today. Finally, he added, assessment in Nation is a formality, and CONEAU can make some observations, or suggest some adjustments, but in the end the implementation of the profession is a fact.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, Dr. Omer Baryonoyevo, considered the approval a historic event coinciding with the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the African National Union.

We can fulfill the desire of the entire Catamarca community, which is to offer our youth the possibility to study and graduate as a doctor at Catamarca University. It remains for us to await the technical and academic analysis of the proposal we present to CONEAU, whose final approval will be determined so that we will be eligible for the first registrations, and we estimate that by mid-2023 we will be able to start the pre-professional course, he concluded.
