Now, capitalizing on the status of the venue, another local duo of Amanda Kindelán and Dayi Zerqueira will participate, along with Miguel Ayón and Yosvany Carrasco.
Canada, the winners of the women’s first division on Aztec land, will present two different teams, and that will happen with nearly all of the contestants, except for Americans Travis Muirter-Timothy Brewster, the pair who finished fourth in the championship’s debut. It happened.
The others who will arrive, already losing to Díaz Alaio 2-0, in the semi-finals of the world qualifiers, on 16 and 17 April, in the Dominican Republic, are Mexicans Izias Aguirre and Gabriel Cruz.
The last edition was in Varadero in 2019, and it was dominated by Leila Martinez and Maylin Delis, while Lidiani Echevarria and Yanislides Sanchez took third place. After that version, Lily and Lydiani play together.
