In Canada, a candy store offers a tempting job offer: sample more than 3,500 candy bars a month for an annual salary of C$100,000 (US$78,000), all from the comfort of your couch.

Candy Funhouse, an online candy company, is looking for a chief taster for its products.

On social media, advertising has been a huge hit among Internet users of all ages.

Matthew Crooks, an American user, noted on Twitter that his eight-year-old daughter had created a LinkedIn profile to apply.

“It’s official @candyfunhouseca, I have applied for this position. Thanks for helping her learn about hard work and the importance of a good resume, even though she is only eight years old.”

Candy Funhouse said that once a Candy manager is selected, he will undergo “extensive taste training”.
