People who want to learn how to set up a business in North Carolina will have the opportunity to do so with professionals in the state’s western region, with workshops being offered in Asheville and Hendersonville, respectively.

As part of the Carolina Small Business Development Fund’s Latino Entrepreneurship Program, The activity “Five Essential Steps to Starting a Business” is here for business ownersbusiness men.

The community of Henderson, Boone and surrounding counties will be able to enjoy free, face-to-face events.

These events are held to fully support Latinos who want to develop or own a business, but have concerns, explained Gabriela Mendez, an administrator with the Carolina Small Business Development Fund.

Gabriela Mendez, Assistant County Superintendent of El Centro Henderson stated: “Through these workshops, we seek to empower Latinos to move forward, not necessarily work for someonebut to have his own business.”

Free services

They come from other countries who know what they want to do or have small businesses in their home region. However, they do not know how to bring the business idea to life in the United States.

Mendez confirmed, according to a post in Enlace Latino: “We want them to know that there are free services for them, because it would be very expensive to hire someone to advise them.It is important for them to know that aid and loans are easy to obtain, even with an ITIN.
