The house that inspired the horror movie “The Conjuring” is up for sale for $1.2 million. The property is located in a small town in Burrillville, Rhode Island, United State, was put up for sale by Rhode Island Mott & Chace Sotheby’s, a real estate agency that isn’t afraid to claim “one of the most haunted homes in the country.”
The critically acclaimed original movie was based on tales taken from the residents of this house. The presence of Bathsheba Sherman, who in the nineteenth century lived in the house at 1677 Round Top Road which is one of the most famous haunted houses in the United States, is said to be haunted by rumors.”, the company says in Web page.
Although the movie was not shot at home, it was inspired by real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The film follows the couple in helping the Perron family, who suffer terrifying events on their Rhode Island farm in 1971.
