The women’s soccer team arrived in Bilbao to play the Basque Country Cup

The Argentine women’s soccer team is already concentrating in Bilbao, Spain, where on Thursday they will play their first ever FIFA friendly match against Venezuela.

The team, led by Carlos Borrello, arrived in Bilbao, after a stop in Madrid, for the Basque Country Women’s Cup, a friendly competition between Argentina, Venezuela and the Basque country (Oscal Celikziwa).

Given the withdrawal of the Nigerian national team, the Argentinians will begin their competition on Thursday against the Venezuelans.

After two training sessions at the Ezeiza campus, coach Borrello determined the list of players and called up the youths Juliana Gonzalez, Magali Nata and Martina del Trico, who will have their first experience with the senior national team.
