The University of Granada Conference analyzes strength sports and neuromuscular performance

The Faculty of Sports Sciences of the University of Granada celebrates the anniversary of Or not International Conference on Improving Strength Training and Neuromuscular PerformanceOrganized by members of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Amador Garcia and Javier Corel, affiliated with the Strength and Muscular Performance Improvement Network. More than 20 Spanish and foreign universities participated in this meeting, including universities from the United Kingdom, Portugal and Chile.

The conference exceeded 200 registrations, 65 original contributions, 24 messages and 41 stickers. The event highlights the importance that muscle strength as an essential component of physical condition, in the face of Improve athletic performancebeing one of the main axes of studies in physical activity and sports sciences.



Tables and workshops

This meeting has specialty tables dealing with topics such as strength sports and their applications; strength training and athletic performance; Strength training based on speed muscle hypertrophy Neural adaptations for strength training, among other topics. The conference will conclude next Saturday with a presentation by Mr Marcos Gutierrez Davilawho has also received recognition for his teaching and research work in the Department of Physical Education and Sports at UGR.
