Watch the much-anticipated final trailer for “Dune,” the sci-fi movie out in theaters this year based on Frank Herbert’s classic novel, Daylight This Thursday.
Academy Award nominee Denis Villeneuve (The Arrival, Blade Runner 2049) directs this adaptation, starring Timothée Chalamet, among its leading cast. The book also had a version directed by David Lynch in 1984.
“Dune” tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and talented young man with a great destiny: he must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to secure the future of his family and people.

Villeneuve directed “Dune” from a script he co-wrote with John Spaihts and Eric Roth based on the novel of the same name by Frank Herbert. The film was also produced with Mary Barnett, Cal Potter, and Joe Carracciolo, Jr. The executive producers are Tania Lapointe, Joshua Grodd, Herbert W. Gaines, John Spaihts, Thomas Tolle, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, and Kim Herbert.
