Representatives of the Talismán Association traveled to the AMA headquarters in Madrid to meet with the President of the AMA Foundation, Diego Murillo, who was informed of the progress of the “Science with Capabilities” project. The plan granted by the AMA Foundation in XXI Insurance Solidarity Awards-INESE, which recognizes every year the social and solidarity commitment of the Spanish insurance sector. Likewise, the AMA’s Corporate Vice President, Juan Jose Rodriguez Senden, participated in the meeting.
“Science with Abilities” is a project whose purpose is training for employment, Social intervention and assistance for young people with intellectual disabilities and their familieswho reside in the municipalities of Sierra Oeste of the Community of Madrid and other neighboring cities in the departments of Avila and Toledo.
Assembly facilitates Social inclusion and work For young people through stress management courses, workshops to deal with working hours or to get Word and Excel certificates.
The activity takes place in a nursery belonging to the association, where Space sciences are taught and learnedHence the name “Talisman Space Station”, which Murillo will soon visit, as he himself announced during the meeting.
The AMA President deeply thanked them for the visit, while congratulating them on the “commendable and necessary” work they do every day with this group.
