There are cities that experience increasingly harsh winters, and there are cities that record less frost each year. There are summers characterized by very high temperatures and weather conditions that make it almost impossible to stay outdoors.

Of course, the most serious consequences are experienced by ecosystems, which begin to change shape and generate immediate consequences across the planet, some of which are exposed to significant risks as a result of natural changes.

It is expected to be a scorching summer, although it is also noted that it will not be an exception. It’s the next weather. That is why experts on this topic recommend that governments implement urgent measures to help reduce temperatures in cities.

These urban centers house approximately 80% of the population and did not take these climatic conditions into account in their design.

This is why heat islands, higher temperatures than a rural environment, and extremely hot nights because pavement and buildings are responsible for continuing to release accumulated heat throughout the day, are part of the process that needs to be corrected.
