Hidalgo hosted the first international business meeting of National Association of Importers and Exporters of the Republic of Mexico (Anirm), where Economic Development Secretariat SEDICO renewed coordination between the state government and the private sector.
The PLATAH Industrial Park, located in Villa de Tezontepec, hosted the meeting with the participation of representatives from the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Islamic Republic of Iran, Malaysia and Peru, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, Horacio Rios Cano, representing the Secretary of Carlos Henkel Escorza.
«This meeting provides the foundations for generating cooperation and coordinated action between the Government of Hidalgo, the Municipality of Vila de Tezontepec and the Industrial Complex of Plata, in order to attract foreign investment and export local and regional products, thus promoting the development of the region’s economy.said the state official.
In this sense, he added that Sedeco has various strategies to enhance coordination between the national and international business sectors and the state and municipal government, in order to enhance the foreign trade operations of the entity.
In addition, he highlighted the logistical qualities and advantages of the Hidalgo regions, as a reference to the PLATAH industrial complex, which enjoys connectivity and proximity to Felipe Angeles International Airport.
