Netflix has some absolute gems of fantasy available right now
The nights are still cold and dark and we haven’t arrived until February yet. But don’t despair, Netflix has a wide variety of great movies and series that you can watch in the comfort of your chair.
We at T3 love a good movie and have put together some short lists to help point you in the right direction, including Top 3 cult moviesthe Three best new movies and three Best martial arts movies; For example, but not limited. Whatever your interests, we’ve got you covered.
Now, let’s move on to fantasy movies, which are (of course) the best movies ever made (along with other genres). If you want to find all the fantasy movies available on Netflix, use the (secret) code: 9744.
In the UK, Netflix usually has a somewhat patchy collection, especially when compared to the rest of the world. But currently (January 2022) the catalog is excellent; With lots of popular fantasy movies available in just one click.
Of course, if you want to try a different catalog, check out some of the Best VPNs. Although Netflix is not viewed favorably. Let’s start with the top three fantasy films available on the platform in January 2022.
The Hobbit Trilogy
Well, this option is a cheat, but it’s worth it. Netflix has all three versions of “The Hobbit,” the sequel and prequel to “The Lord of the Rings.”
It seems to us that it is not necessary for us to tell you what “The Hobbit” is based on, but for the most curious here. It is set in the events that occurred a few generations before The Lord of the Rings, following Bilbo Baggins, Frodo’s grandfather, and his journey to obtain the Ring of Power.
Some great performances, highly advanced CGI, and epic fight scenes help make these movies even better. Although the story may be a little longer in some sections.
All three movies are entertaining, with their ups and downs, and we think they’re perfect for spending some evenings snuggling, even with a cup of hot chocolate in hand.
Kong: Skull Island
There is something very compelling about King Kong, a story that has been told for generations. In this version, Kong does not fight Godzilla, but rather lives and protects an island lost in time.
None of this is known by the operations of the US Army, which seeks a better understanding of the island, and the rest of the film goes like this. It features excellent performances by Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly and many others. Amazing CGI action, makes the movie come to life. Plus, it lasts just under two hours, so it doesn’t take long. It is highly recommended.
Mughal: Legend of the Jungle
A star-studded cast reimagines Rudyard Kipling’s Mowgli on Netflix. Directed by Andy Serkis. Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is an amazing movie and it deserves a place on this list.
Rohan Chand has done an excellent job as Mowgli, the only living character, with support from Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Naomie Harris and many others.
It’s an excellent adaptation of a story you know so well that we can’t stop recommending it.
Vampire Kate Beckinsale returns for the latest sequel to Underworld, where she has been hunted not only by vampires, but also by werewolves. Like previous Underworld films, this is a fantasy thriller packed with action, but unlike all the other films that followed the original classic, this one truly is a return to substance.
It never gets past the absurd vampire and wolf plot that has characterized the series. But it has some decent performances and some really cool special effects.
It’s the perfect movie popcorn on a Friday night after a few beers. And with a short running time of 90 minutes, you can watch it and then choose a smarter or funnier title.
