Theater gives the elderly the opportunity to acquire a positive attitude and strengthen their expressive abilities. This is why it has become a therapy that brings with it a variety of benefits, giving the elderly a space to develop their creativity through theatrical exercises, thus improving memory and motor abilities.
In this sense, the Elderly Policies Directorate under the supervision of the Undersecretary for Promotion, Protection and Social Development at the Ministry of Human Development and Social Promotion began, bThe activities corresponding to the theatrical workshop consist of a cast of adults over 60 years old.
With a strict health protocol, mandatory use of a mask and with proper care, the activity seeks to promote the physical and mental health of the people attending. The workshop led by Professor Kika Aldai is offered free of charge every Thursday from the 16th to the 18th, in the Trade Personnel Guild Hall.
Likewise, on Saturdays, there will be healthy picnics in the outdoor spaces seeking to stimulate creativity through physical exercise.
