Telefónica Tech opens its digital operations center in the country

To complement the global cyber security and cloud operations capabilities, Telefónica Tech has opened a new Digital Operations Center (DOC) in the country’s capitalwhich were added to the version created last year in Spain.

According to María Jesús Almazur, CEO of Cybersecurity and Cloud at Telefónica Tech, The DOC’s extension area is 500 square metres and global capabilities to enhance services provided in the region and in the United States.

The Colombian DOC team will work in coordination with the professionals that make up Telefónica Tech’s global area of ​​operations. It will also enhance the company’s network of 11 Security Operations Centers (SOCs) around the world. Likewise, DOC will serve approximately 5.5 million customersAlmazur said.

The company confirmed that it also hopes to strengthen its operations team consisting of DOC, For this reason, they plan to expand their staff in the coming months with qualified profiles.
