Sedeco participates in a business meeting – El Sol de Hidalgo

The Secretary of Economic Development of Hidalgo (Sedeco) reported that in order to attract foreign investment and export local and regional products, an international business meeting was necessary, which allowed the formation of bases for cooperation and coordinated action between the state government, the municipality of Villa de Tezontepec and the PLATAH industrial park.

The government agency participated in the first international trade meeting of the National Association of Importers and Exporters of the Republic of Mexico (ANIERM) together with representatives of the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama and the Islamic Republic. Iran, Malaysia and Peru.

It was the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Development, Horacio Rios Cano, who attended on behalf of the Minister of Economic Development, Carlos Henkel Escorza.

In his speech, he said, “The meeting promotes culture and promotes economic development through the trade of its products, and demonstrates the logistical qualities and advantages of the Hidalgo regions, as a reference for the PLATAH industrial complex, which is of prime importance for its connection and proximity to AIFA, which allows us to continue working to generate new opportunities for Hidalguenses.”

He added that SEDICO has various strategies to enhance coordination between the national and international business sectors, the state government and municipalities, in order to enhance foreign trade operations in the entity.

In addition, the agency reaffirmed that the administration’s current actions seek to demonstrate that Hidalgo has the talent and resources to receive national and international investments, in accordance with the vision of the Governor.
