Among other products and solutions, the Korean company introduced its innovative obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound system, HERA W10 Elite, with a new internal transducer that integrates artificial intelligence into the device itself.
Samsung Medison is presenting its innovative diagnostic solutions using ultrasound and real-time AI technologies at the 2023 World Congress of Fetal Medicine (WCFM), being held in Valencia from June 25-29. This congress is one of the most important events in the world dedicated to fetal medicine, which is also led by Prof. Kypros Nikolaides, one of the most famous physicians in the field of fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology at the international level.
During the symposium, Samsung will showcase the HERA W10 Elite Premium OB/GYN ultrasound system, which includes a new volumetric internal transducer as well as other on-device AI solutions. On display at the Samsung booth will be the HERA W10 Elite ultrasound system that delivers exceptional images, intelligently automated precision features, fast operation and superior ergonomics that all combine to give healthcare professionals greater confidence in diagnosis. This state-of-the-art system is packed with powerful AI capabilities to free healthcare professionals from repetitive tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
Specifically, ViewAssist™ streamlines your workflow by automatically measuring and annotating multiple views/snapshots at the touch of a button. Similarly, the conference will also showcase the HeartAssist™ AI solution, which simplifies the diagnostic and screening process. It is a dependent function Deep learning Identifies and measures various critical cardiac levels for more accurate and efficient diagnosis.
In addition, MV-Flow™ 3D can help detect fine structures with higher sensitivity and accuracy, enabling better clinical decisions. All of these myriad advantages are clearly conveyed by the 27-inch OLED display that realistically represents black and is well suited to the different characteristics of ultrasound images with black backgrounds.
The new EV2-12 transducer will also be launched with HERA W10 Elite, which offers higher bandwidth, enabling impressive accuracy to cover various applications, especially fetal heart and brain from the eighth week, as well as fetal brain development in the second and third trimesters.
During WCFM, SonoSync™, a real-time ultrasound study sharing and management solution, will also be introduced, which has already demonstrated the benefits of a solution that medical professionals and sonographers can trust to overcome the difficulties of location and time.
