Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro release “RR”, a project of three songs

Grammy Award-winning and Latin Grammy-winning artist Rosalía and Latin Grammy-winning reggae icon Rao Alejandro have released their three-song joint project, RR. This marked their first collaborative work together. Listen to RR here.

RR narrates their journey audibly as a couple, tracing their relationship roadmap from the past to the present with hints of what the future holds. Their voices complement each other as they lock in a creative chemistry that only partners can share. At the same time, their own methods fuse into a fiery, fresh vision unlike anything any of these pioneers have created to date.

Rosalía says: “For us, love is always first and everything else after, but this time we went beyond that to be able to finish RR and share it with the world. After more than 3 years, these 3 songs came out and each one of them belongs to a different phase of love .

Adds Rauw Alejandro: “We always knew we wanted to make music together. However, with our relationship being the focus, we had to find the right moment. It was a long time coming and finding a way to fit all my feelings for her into three songs was near impossible. It means That I’m going to spend my days writing and writing many songs about her and with her. We’re so happy with this project. RR forever!”

To celebrate the release, they released the music video for “Beso”. The video brings together never-before-seen private footage that Rosalia and Rao Alejandro personally filmed during their travels around the world. Most of the photos were taken while on vacation in Japan, as well as Puerto Rico, Spain, the Dominican Republic, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among many other places.
