Public Health Report on Coronavirus No. 688

The Ministry of Public Health reported that on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, six deaths due to COVID-19 were recorded.

The deceased are: A 95-year-old woman from Albardon who was taken to Dra Hospital. An 89-year-old man, from the capital, was admitted to the Santa Clara Clinic; A 67-year-old man from Chimbas, admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital; A 77-year-old man, from Sarmiento, was admitted to the Hospital of Dr. Ventura Luveras; An 85-year-old woman from Rivadavia, admitted to Dr. Marcial Quiroga Hospital; An 87-year-old woman from the capital, admitted to the San Juan Sanatorium.

The Government of San Juan expresses its condolences to the family, relatives and friends and accompanies them at this painful moment.

It is also announced that as of 7:00 PM of the date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases have been recorded in San Juan.

  • New cases: 913
  • Confirmed total: 139,756
  • Infectious patients: 13,216
  • Deceased (cumulative): 1272
  • Recovered: 125,268
  • Negative test: 1427

Part of the boarding schools

112 patients have been hospitalized in COVID-19 areas at Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospitals; Dr.. Marcial Quiroga; Dr.. Ventura Loveras of Sarmiento; Dr.. Cesar Aguilar of Caussette. Dr.. Jose Giordano of Albardon. Federico Cantone, from Boquito; Simic. Dr.. Giulietta Lantry; San Roque Hospital in Yachal; Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital in Valle Vertel; Barriel Calingasta Hospital; 25 May Hospital; private hospital; medical institute; El Castano Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; San Juan Sanatorium and CCI.

Of this total, 24 patients remain hospitalized in the critical area, 4 of whom are receiving mechanical ventilation.

Among those hospitalized in the COVID-19 area are a pregnant woman and 6 pediatric patients who have been confirmed to have COVID-19.
