Public Health Report on Coronavirus No. 547

The Ministry of Public Health reported that on Friday, September 3, 2021, there were five deaths due to COVID-19.

Deceased: A 76-year-old man. A native of Caucete. who remained hospitalized at Dr. Guillermo Rosson Hospital; A 30-year-old woman from Santa Lucia, admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rosson Hospital; A 66-year-old woman from Chimpas, admitted to the Santa Clara Clinic; a 35-year-old woman from the capital, admitted to the hospital of Dr. Guillermo Rosso; and a 63-year-old male, from Rawson, who was admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital.

The San Juan government expresses its condolences to relatives, friends and relatives and accompanies them at this painful moment.

It was also revealed that as of 7:30 p.m. on this date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases have been recorded in San Juan:

  • New cases: 55
  • Confirmed total: 71270
  • Infected patients: 759
  • Deaths (cumulative): 1,146
  • Recovered: 69365
  • Negative tests: 921

121 patients were hospitalized in COVID-19 areas (between positive and suspected) at Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospitals; Dr.. Marcial Quiroga; Dr.. Ventura Loveras of Sarmiento; Dr.. Cesar Aguilar of Caussette. Dr.. Jose Giordano of Albardon. Federico Cantone, of Boquito; Simic. Dr.. Giulietta Lantry; San Roque Hospital, from Yachal; Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital of Valle Vertel. Barriel Hospital, Calingasta; private hospital; medical institute; El Castano Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; Sanatorio San Juan and CCI.

Of this total, 72 patients remain hospitalized in the critical area, 28 of whom are on mechanical ventilation.

Of the total number of people hospitalized in the COVID-19 area, two are pregnant patients and two have been confirmed to have COVID-19.
