Public Health Report on Coronavirus No. 461

The Ministry of Public Health reported that on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, there were four deaths due to COVID-19.

The deceased are: a 92-year-old woman, born in Rawson, who remained in hospital at Dr. Ventura Luveras Hospital; a 64-year-old male from Caucete, admitted to Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital; A 53-year-old woman, from Rawson, admitted to Dr. Marcial Quiroga Hospital; and an 81-year-old man from Rawson, who was admitted to the medical institute.

The San Juan government expresses its condolences to relatives, friends and relatives and accompanies them at this painful moment.

It is also reported that as of 7:00 pm on this date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases have been recorded in San Juan:

  • New cases: 521
  • Confirmed total: 46,362
  • Infectious patients: 9396
  • Fatalities (accumulated): 779
  • Recovered: 36187
  • Negative tests: 1090

296 patients in COVID-19 areas (between positives and suspects) were admitted to the Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospitals; Dr.. Marcial Quiroga; Dr.. Ventura Loveras of Sarmiento; Dr.. Cesar Aguilar of Caussette. Dr.. Jose Giordano of Albardon. Federico Cantone of Poquito. Simic. Dr.. Giulietta Lantry; San Roque Hospital, from Yachal; Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital of Valle Vertel. Barriel Hospital, Calingasta; private hospital; medical institute; El Castano Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; Sanatorio San Juan and CCI.

Of this total, 135 patients remain hospitalized in the critical area, 71 of whom are on mechanical ventilation.

Of the total hospitalizations in COVID-19 areas, three patients are pregnant and five have been confirmed to have COVID-19.
