The Inspection Secretary, Cristian Blanco, stated that with the new options it will be possible to choose “the time and place to complete the pre-medical clearance necessary to process the renewal or issuance of a new driver’s license”, which will allow the citizen to “accommodate the medical visit according to his activity schedules”.
In this way, residents will be able to decide where, how and when the medical certificate to be delivered in both medical centers, which has been certified by the National Agency for Road Safety, will be processed.
“With the medical certificate in your possession, the procedure at the Transit Directorate will be administrative only. It will not go through the headquarters doctor. It will be faster and will prevent any diseases from being discovered and having to go back again to obtain the license,” said Blanco, who highlighted the importance of the new service. .
