It’s uploading to streaming services this week, with premieres on Netflix, Apple TV Plus, HBO Max and Hulu. We’ve picked the top six here, from historical dramas to psychological thrillers and even a potential Oscar winner for Best Picture.
This isn’t the busiest time for new TV series – thankfully, the constant episodes of WandaVision keep us busy – but in the golden age of live streaming, there’s always something new.

Behind Her Eyes (Netflix)
Although its main plot is a love triangle, this new mini-series is without a doubt the best for the weekend after Valentine’s Day.
Based on the novel of the same name, this psychological thriller tells the story of Louise – played by Simona Brown – who finds herself stuck between her new boss and lover David, and an unlikely girlfriend of David’s wife, Adele.
The critical response was quite mixed, but if you like sudden twists that make you shriek at the screen, this is your series.

For All Mankind Season 2 (Apple TV Plus)
What if the space race was never over? This powerful and well-rounded fictional series asks for acting from Battlestar Galactica creator Ronald De Moore.
Season 2 of For All Mankind takes place in a world where the Soviet Union was the first to reach the moon, leaping forward for ten years and driving the Cold War to the brink of armed conflict.
Season 2 episodes air weekly, and the former is now available live. If you have an Apple device, there is also an augmented reality app with the story of what happens before Season Two.

I care a lot (Netflix / Amazon Prime Video)
This suspenseful comedy by J. Blackson tells the story of Marla Grayson, an elderly testament played by Rosamund Pike. A sinister guardian causes elderly patients to receive false diagnoses of dementia and empty their bank accounts when the state assigns them to take care of it. However, her latest victim will not be the “nice old lady” she is used to.
The film now has a good score: 84% on Rotten Tomatoes. If you live in the United States, you can watch it on Netflix. Outside the US, it can be viewed on Amazon Prime Video.

Nomadland (Hulu)
This is Chloe Chow’s feature film – who will direct the movie Eternal For Marvel – He was already announced as one of the nominees for the Academy Awards for Best Picture.
It’s about what it means to be a nomad in the United States, and the adaptation of the documentary Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century. The film mixes fictional characters with real-life nomads playing copies of themselves and narrates the life story of Verne (Frances McDormand), who gets in the way after losing her husband and her job to a story with one that some of them will manage. Feel easily recognizable.

If you want to learn a little this weekend, this new documentary series about the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution will please you. Presented by Will Smith, it will explain over six episodes how the amendment was made and why it is important to equal rights in the United States, including the right to vote for African Americans and women.

It’s a sin (HBO Max and All4)
Located in London in the eighties, It is a sin Explains what life was like for gay men during the HIV / AIDS crisis in the UK. This emotional five-part series is not afraid to face the harsh reality of the time.
She has great performances from her team, which includes the likes of Ole Alexander, Lydia West, and Neil Patrick Harris.
It has been one of the great successes in the UK recently.
