Netflix and Amazon are sweeping the nominations

A year after the Coronavirus spread, where no going to the movies, live broadcasting is driving the pattern of consumption of series and movies.

Unlike other years, and a producer of feminism around the world that has had repercussions on “Me Too” in the US entertainment world, it will be featured by Tina Fey and Amy Bowler, two popular actresses, producer, screenwriter and directors.

This is the first time that the Golden Globes have been broadcast from multiple locations in their 78-year history. While Fey will broadcast live from the Rainbow Ballroom at Rockefeller Center in New York, Poehler will be hosting from the usual Globes venue, inside the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The awards, which cover film and television, are the slogan of film production, and among the nominations are a wide range of actors and actresses with many new traditions and honors. Gary Oldman, Glenn Close, Cynthia Nixon, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Anya Taylor Joy, among others.

Favorite movies are Mank (by Orson Wells’ writer The Citizen) and The Chicago 7. Among the series, Ratched and Gambit de Dama stand out.

Viewership this year is expected to exceed last year’s 77th edition, which was one of the most watched TV broadcasts of the year, with an average of 19.2 million viewers on January 5, 2020.
