  • The GPU for new miners is TU116-100, 1,408 cores.

MSI Chipmaker released two Nvidia graphics cards (GPUs) dedicated to Ethereum mining. These are the two CMP 30HX Miner and 30HX Miner XS GPUs, both of which come equipped with a 26 MH / s processing card.

Monday GPU de MSI It is based on the NVIDIA Turing TU116-100 card, which includes 1408 cores. The GPU base frequency is 1530MHz, while in Boost mode it can reach 1785MHz.

This line of graphics cards aims to reduce the graphics card shortage in the entry-level performance segment, below the high-end GeForce cards.

The MSI CMP 30HX Miner XS is compatible with the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ventus XS and comes with a single bay I / O panel, dual bay design and dual fan cooling system. The MSI CMP 30HX Miner has a different design and you’ll get a larger cooler that features a Torx 3.0 fan and dual heatpipes that connect directly to the GPU. Both cards are powered by a single 8-pin power connector.

Since they’re specifically designed for mining, these two new cards released by MSI don’t come with external video interfaces, as the CMP 30HX models released by Palit, Gigabyte and ASUS do.

As reported by CriptoNoticias, Nvidia in February 2020 launched four lines of Exclusive cryptocurrency mining graphics cards. Among them is the CMP 30HX that MSI is using to launch new graphics cards. These fonts are Nvidia CMP 30HX, 40HX, 50HX, and 90HX.
