LG Innotek Introduced a new continuous optical zoom camera module capable of shooting at all magnifications and Allows the lens to switch between a 4x to 9x magnification rangegiving you the ability to take pictures without losing resolution.

And the South Korean company stated that it will present this product, along with its home appliances and information technology devices, within the framework of the CES 2023 exhibition, which will be held during the first days of January next year.

The main new in this launch is that the camera has a continuous optical lens, which allows it to Zoom range swapunlike most mobile cameras that have a fixed optical zoom (eg, 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x).

This unit integrates telescopic camera functions that are usually integrated into professional devices, such as mirrorless (DSLR) or mirrorless cameras, the company said in a statement. The user of this device will also be able to shoot using the optical zoom by switching between zoom ranges from 4x to 9x, maintaining image quality at all times.

LG believes that with this product, smart device manufacturers will be able to take more space inside the mobile phone and improve battery efficiency. Also, the optical image stabilization (OIS) applied to this new format reduces blur caused by shake and increases definition.
