For two weeks, from Monday to November 19, the National Science and Technology Week is celebrated across the country, which is organized by the National Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Technology.
It is a work of dissemination that opens doors to the world of science and technology across the country, where museums, research centers, libraries, science academies, botanical gardens and related institutions join free activities thanks to the promotion of research and science.
As in the other editions, the IxD Posadas Education Center joins the activities, with the aim of encouraging and motivating boys and girls to enter the world of science through fun and scientific activities, such as inquiry, exploration, observation and critical thinking.
From the Science Lab, this course will start with the “Green Lab” activity, which targets boys and girls from ages 9 to 13.
It seeks to find a place to inquire and experiment on the soil and environmental conditions necessary to favor the existence and growth of living organisms, with a focus on raising awareness of the importance of caring for and generating green spaces in cities. This workshop will take place in the Alberto Roth Botanical Garden.
On the other hand, the “Mural Mundo Microscópico” program will target schools with boys and girls from 11 to 15 years old. In this proposal, we will be working on a digital photographic sample, and observations will be made with a microscope and a magnifying glass. Accompanying this exhibition will be an approach to the use of these elements, whereby attendees will be able to identify and inquire about what we do not know or see with the naked eye of different organisms. This activity will take place in the Regional Museum “Annibale Campas”.
It is important to note that all activities are free and require prior registration through IxD Posadas WhatsApp: 376-4874496. Here is the registration form:
