During her visit, the Minister commended the work of disseminating and promoting science advocacy carried out by the Science and Technology Station, which she referred to as a school to empower, democratize and disseminate science and thus improve the decision-making process.
The Burgos Science and Technology Station is a project promoted by the University of Burgos and the Burgos City Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Innovation, through the Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), which aims to promote science and technological culture among citizens.

Morant also stressed that Burgos is a science city with the National Center for Research in Human Evolution (CENIEH), the only scientific and technical infrastructure in our country dedicated to the social sciences.
In addition, he noted that the University of Burgos participates in the three complementary plans that are being developed in Castilla y León in the areas of advanced materials, renewable energy, hydrogen and quantum communication. In total, these plans mobilize €2.1 million, backed by European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
