Hundreds of people attended Cozcyt science and technology workshops during Zacatecas Cultural Festival 2022
- Within the programming, Zigzag has provided dozens of activities for children, youth and adults
- A forum was held as part of Governor David Monreal’s strategy to rebuild the social fabric and orient the professions toward scientific knowledge
Zacatecas, Zack, April 19, 2022.- With great success, the Zacatecan Council on Science, Technology and Innovation (Cozcyt) has been part of the Zacatecas Cultural Festival (FCZ) 2022, a framework in which it has developed dozens of workshops and activities that have allowed it to bring in the exact sciences and promote environmental stewardship for nearly 900 minors and adults.
Through the Zacatecas Zigzag Interactive Center for Science and Technology, various activities have been carried out at the FCZ Children and Youth Forum, which is installed in Plazuela 450, as part of Governor David Monreal Avila’s strategy to rebuild the social fabric, make areas of opportunity visible to all residents and direct the calls of residents and especially young people towards Scientific and technological knowledge.
Sandra Elizabeth Flores, Deputy Director of Education for the Zigzag Foundation, reported that during the cultural festival, the following workshops were presented: Math, Soma Cube, Tangram, Chopsticks Challenge, How to Create a Cloud, Dragons K, Box Crusher, Toilet Paper Dilemma, Microscope, Memory The water footprint, the germination of beans and the cultivation of vegetables, involved nearly 500 girls and women and about 400 boys and men.
