Health professionals in Mendoza walked the streets of downtown Mendoza to present their demands for salary improvements to Rodolfo Suarez’s government, which they say has not provided definitive answers and the offers they made from the province’s state are “laughable and disrespectful”.
The demand for better wages and better working conditions has been going on for months. Professionals and evaluators have presented their certificates on various occasions. At this point, they assert, they are “sick of abuse, poor conditions, excessive workloads and extremely low salaries being paid by the Mendoza government.”
“The Rodolfo Suarez government is joking with us, it has generated absolute silence in the face of our demands and all it is doing is igniting the anger that we have so much more,” said a spokesperson for the rally.
On the other hand, another speaker emphasized that the reward that the government wants to give us, which is paid in 4 parts, is a direct disrespect for all of us who have worked so hard since the start of the pandemic.”
