Cases have also been reported in Mexico. Ferrero has ordered the recall of Kinder Mini products in the affected countries.
A total of 150 cases of salmonellosis have been detected in nine European countries. The authorities referred to a responsible “Belgian factory”, days after the closure of the Kinder (Ferrero) factory for the production of chocolate in Belgium.
However, according to El Imparcial, Mexico’s Federal Commission for the Protection of Health Risks (Cofepris) reported that Kinder eggs and other chocolates have introduced salmonella bacteria.

And they explained in a statement that “Ferero de México SA de CV notified this health authority to withdraw batches manufactured in Belgium, after discovering cases of salmonellosis in Europe after consumption.”
These are the “Little Kinder eggs”, which the manufacturer voluntarily withdrew from different parts of the world.
At this time, photos are already circulating on social networks that show what salmonella bacteria look like in chocolate. A person separated half of a piece of candy and the white dots could be seen inside.
