On Monday, March 13, the province of Tucuman will receive the visit of the Director of the Fund for Scientific and Technological Research (FONCYT), Marisa Sensabella, who will participate in an informational meeting on “FONCYT Funding Policies”, aimed particularly at scholarship holders, teachers and researchers from CONICET and the National University of Tucuman (UNT).
It should be noted that FONCYT manages the application of the budget resources of the national treasury from external credit operations and international cooperation, in order to finance research projects, within the framework of the plans and programs established for the science and technology sector. Its mission is to support projects and activities aimed at generating new scientific, technological and innovative knowledge, in both basic and applied topics, developed by researchers belonging to public and private non-profit institutions present in the country.
During the meeting, Censabella will explain the improvements that have been implemented in the National Science and Technology Funds, so the presence of those interested in accessing it is essential.
The event will take place at 10 am in the auditorium of the Eugenio Ferla Cultural Center in the provincial capital.
