FIFA punishes El Salvador again because of its fans

FIFA penalized Fesfut once again for the inappropriate behavior of its fans in the last match at Cuscatlán Stadium.

It seems fans don’t understand what it means to act when they go to watch determinant to Cuscatlan Stadium. Once again, FIFA has punished Fesfut for improper fan behaviour.

Disciplinary Committee in FIFA Visfoot was fined $10,875.95 for throwing objects in the match between El Salvador and Canada in the CONCACAF Octagon Final.

FIFA says the federation must pay within 30 days of receiving the notification.

This will be the third time that Fisvot has been penalized for the bad behavior of fans inside the “Giant of Monserrat” in the World Cup qualifiers bound for Qatar 2022.

The previous occasion was when we received Mexico and months ago against the United States.

Only in the two matches against Panama and Jamaica did FIFA punish El Salvador, the first match ended in victory and in the second, which was a draw, hardly anyone came to the stadium.

With this economic fine, Fesfut will have already paid $57,075.05 to FIFA due to fans who are dedicated to causing chaos in Cuscatlán.

If there is no positive result, it is very likely that the federation will add a fourth economic penalty in the match against Costa Rica. From CANCHA we invite people to come to the stadium and act on the mission. Let’s show that Salvadorans have an education.
