The third Ecuadorean in the Giro is Jonathan Caicedo. The “Little Cuban” will compete in the EF Pro Cycling in the United States, being the main community. Kaiseido also won a stage in 2020.

Ecuador is the second country on the continent with the most cyclists in cycling competition, after Colombia. The neighboring country to the north is one of the standards in terms of this discipline on the continent and has representatives in most teams.
