The Minister of Defense, Daniel Barragan Coloma, met today with the Canadian Ambassador to Peru, Luis Marcotte, to discuss issues related to cooperation and strengthening relations in defense sector matters.
The meeting was attended by the Director-General of International Relations of the Ministry of Defense, Augusto Cabrera Rebaza, as well as the President of the Canadian Trade Corporation, Bobby Kwon, among other diplomatic authorities.
During the meeting, the Canadian ambassador expressed his greetings to the Minister of Defense, and highlighted the cooperation relations that unite the two countries through important government contracts, and agreements that help strengthen the capabilities of armed institutions and help in cases of natural disasters.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in the Jesús Maria region.
